Guidelines and practices

We believe in fair, affordable and transparent fees.

That is why prior to any representation and/or undertaking of work, we will inform you of the fees to be charged in order to obtain your consent to proceed.

Additionally, unlike many law firms and legal consultancies out there, we do not work on the basis of a daily fee. We believe this is not transparent and may not fully account for the work done.

Our fees are based on the actual work we undertake and we price it accordingly.

Disbursements

Disbursements are costs made on your behalf in relation to your case for expenses such as filing fees, photocopying, courier costs etc.  These are out of pocket expenses incurred by MOCN Consulting that you would be responsible for paying if you were to handle the matter by yourself.

Prior to incurring any disbursements we will inform you of the fees and obtain your consent before hand.

Law related costs if advanced by the lawyer, will be billed to you.

Advanced payments

The lawyer in charge of your case will work with advanced payments. The lawyer tries, if possible, to evaluate the fees and costs needed for a process.

​

You will receive a detailed statement of the balance any time a new provision is asked, when closing the case, or when you request it.
